Warranty, Return & Refund Policy for Jask Auto parts Inc.

1. Warranty Coverage

  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. provides a Parts Only Warranty on eligible products unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
  • The warranty covers defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied parts that are determined by Jask Auto Parts Inc. to be eligible under the terms of this policy.
  • Warranty coverage begins on the original invoice date, not the delivery date or installation date.
  • The warranty period for each part is specified on the customer’s invoice.
  • If no warranty period is stated on the invoice or confirmed in writing by a Jask Auto Parts Inc. representative, the part is sold “AS IS” with no warranty expressed or implied.
  • All warranties apply only to the original purchaser listed on the invoice.
  • Warranty coverage is non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual or business.
  • No warranty extends beyond the coverage specifically described on the original invoice.
  • All warranty decisions are made solely by Jask Auto Parts Inc.

2. Limited Liability

  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. is responsible only for the repair, replacement, refund, or store credit of the purchased part, subject to the terms of this policy.
  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. reserves the right to determine whether a replacement, refund, or store credit will be issued.
  • Replacement of the original part is the preferred warranty remedy whenever inventory is available.
  • If a replacement part is unavailable, Jask Auto Parts Inc. may issue a refund or store credit at its sole discretion.
  • Replacement parts may have equal or greater mileage than the original part purchased.
  • Jask Auto Parts Inc.’s maximum liability shall never exceed the purchase price paid for the part.
  • Under no circumstances shall Jask Auto Parts Inc. be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

3. Costs Not Covered Under Warranty

The warranty does not cover any expenses other than the replacement or refund of the purchased part.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Labor charges.
  • Installation costs.
  • Removal costs.
  • Diagnostic charges.
  • Storage fees.
  • Towing expenses.
  • Rental vehicle expenses.
  • Hotel accommodations.
  • Lost wages.
  • Loss of income.
  • Loss of business.
  • Loss of vehicle use.
  • Freight charges unless specifically approved in writing.
  • Shipping upgrades requested by the customer.
  • Mechanical shop charges.
  • Programming or calibration costs unless specifically approved in writing.
  • Any additional expenses incurred by the customer or installer.

4. Mileage Policy

  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. does not guarantee the mileage of any used part unless specifically stated on the invoice or confirmed in writing.
  • Mileage information provided by sales representatives is based solely on information supplied by vendors.
  • Final shipment may differ from preliminary mileage estimates due to inventory availability and interchange options.
  • Product quality and functionality take precedence over mileage.
  • Mileage shall not be considered a condition of sale unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
  • Orders may not be cancelled solely because the delivered part has different mileage than expected unless mileage was specifically guaranteed in writing.
  • Cancellation requests based solely on mileage that was not guaranteed in writing are subject to all applicable cancellation fees, restocking fees, and shipping charges.

5. Labor Policy

  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. provides a Parts Only Warranty.
  • Labor reimbursement is not included with the standard warranty.
  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. does not pay labor charges for installation, removal, diagnosis, programming, inspection, teardown, reinstallation, or any other labor-related expense.
  • Labor charges are not covered regardless of whether the part is used, rebuilt, remanufactured, aftermarket, or new.
  • Labor costs remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser unless separate written labor coverage has been purchased and is specifically listed on the invoice.

6. Warranty Duration

  • Warranty coverage begins on the invoice date.
  • Standard warranty coverage is thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated.
  • Extended warranties are available on select parts at an additional cost.
  • Extended warranty coverage begins immediately after the standard warranty period.
  • Warranty periods cannot be paused, extended, or restarted due to delayed installation or vehicle repairs.
  • Warranty coverage expires automatically at the end of the stated warranty period.
  • Parts must be installed within 14 days of delivery.
  • Any issues with the part must be reported within 14 days of installation to qualify for warranty coverage.

7. Warranty Claim Requirements

To qualify for warranty consideration, the customer must:

  • Notify Jask Auto Parts Inc. immediately after discovering the issue.
  • Contact Customer Service before removing, repairing, or replacing the part.
  • Provide the original invoice.
  • Provide photographs of the defective part.
  • Provide photographs showing installation.
  • Provide a computer-generated diagnostic report when applicable.
  • Provide maintenance receipts when requested.
  • Provide installation receipts when requested.
  • Follow all instructions issued by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • Obtain written authorization before any repairs are performed.
  • Return the original part if requested.
  • Cooperate with any inspection required by Jask Auto Parts Inc.

Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in denial of the warranty claim.

8. Warranty Approval

  • All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • No repairs may be performed without prior written authorization.
  • Unauthorized repairs automatically void warranty consideration for the affected repair.
  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. reserves the right to inspect any product before approving replacement, refund, or store credit.
  • Returned products may be inspected by qualified technicians before a final warranty decision is made.
  • Warranty approval is not automatic upon receipt of a returned part.

9. General Warranty Conditions

  • Parts must be installed correctly according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
  • All recommended installation procedures must be followed.
  • Proper fluids, lubricants, filters, seals, and gaskets must be replaced before installation whenever applicable.
  • All scheduled maintenance required by the vehicle manufacturer must be performed.
  • Appropriate maintenance records must be retained.
  • Customers must take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage after discovering a problem.
  • Continued operation of a defective part after a failure may void warranty coverage.
  • Products sold for testing purposes, fitment verification, or interchange confirmation are not eligible for return unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Returned products must remain in the same condition in which they were supplied, excluding verified shipping damage.
  • Any tampering, modification, disassembly, abuse, misuse, cannibalization, or alteration voids all warranty coverage.

10. Conditions That Void the Warranty

The warranty shall become immediately null and void if any of the following conditions apply:

  • The part is installed improperly or contrary to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended installation procedures.
  • The part is installed in a vehicle or application for which it was not originally designed or intended by the manufacturer.
  • The part is modified, altered, dismantled, welded, machined, or repaired without prior written authorization from Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • The part is abused, neglected, misused, or operated under abnormal conditions.
  • The failure is caused by overheating, insufficient lubrication, contaminated fluids, improper maintenance, or lack of required maintenance.
  • The customer fails to replace required maintenance items before installation when applicable.
  • The customer fails to use OEM-recommended fluids, lubricants, coolants, filters, or other required service materials.
  • The customer fails to retain maintenance or installation records when requested during a warranty claim.
  • The part is damaged due to improper storage, handling, transportation, or installation.
  • The vehicle is involved in a collision, accident, fire, flood, vandalism, theft, explosion, lightning strike, earthquake, hail, windstorm, or any other natural disaster.
  • The failure results from racing, competitive driving, off-road use, or recreational motorsports.
  • The vehicle is used for commercial purposes, including taxi service, rideshare service, limousine service, fleet operations, delivery service, government service, emergency service, or similar commercial applications.
  • The vehicle has been modified for snowplowing, heavy towing beyond the manufacturer’s specifications, or other severe-duty applications.
  • The installed heat tab has melted, been removed, altered, or is missing.
  • The part is installed or operated outside the United States unless otherwise approved in writing by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • The part is sold “AS IS” as clearly indicated on the invoice.
  • The customer authorizes repairs before obtaining written approval from Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • The customer refuses to provide requested documentation supporting a warranty claim.
  • The customer refuses to return the original part when requested.
  • The returned part is incomplete or has missing components.
  • The returned part has been cannibalized for usable components.
  • The returned part has been intentionally damaged or altered.
  • The returned part does not match the original part supplied by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • Continued operation of a known defective part results in additional damage.

11. Customer Responsibilities

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that all recommended installation and maintenance procedures are completed before placing the vehicle into service.

The customer shall:

  • Verify that the purchased part is correct before installation.
  • Inspect the part immediately upon delivery.
  • Report shipping damage immediately.
  • Report incorrect or missing items immediately.
  • Have the part installed by a qualified mechanic whenever possible.
  • Follow all manufacturer installation procedures.
  • Follow any additional installation instructions supplied by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • Replace all required maintenance items before installation.
  • Replace all worn seals, gaskets, O-rings, fluids, filters, belts, hoses, thermostats, water pumps, and other recommended service items whenever applicable.
  • Verify that related vehicle systems are functioning properly before operating the vehicle.
  • Maintain proper fluid levels at all times.
  • Maintain proper cooling system operation.
  • Maintain proper electrical system operation.
  • Perform all required maintenance at the intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Keep all maintenance receipts.
  • Keep all installation receipts.
  • Retain diagnostic reports for warranty purposes.
  • Stop operating the vehicle immediately if a problem is suspected.
  • Take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage after a failure occurs.

12. Maintenance Requirements

Proper maintenance is required to maintain warranty coverage.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Following all maintenance schedules established by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Using only fluids and lubricants that meet OEM specifications.
  • Using OEM-approved coolant, transmission fluid, gear oil, engine oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and other required fluids.
  • Replacing all filters before installation whenever required.
  • Replacing engine oil and the oil filter at the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals.
  • Replacing transmission fluid and transmission filters before placing the vehicle into service.
  • Performing all recommended cooling system maintenance.
  • Inspecting the radiator and cooling system for restrictions or contamination.
  • Ensuring proper radiator flow whenever required.
  • Replacing defective cooling components before installation.
  • Maintaining documentation for all maintenance performed.

Failure to perform required maintenance may result in denial of warranty coverage.

13. Installation Requirements

Customers and installers are responsible for ensuring that all installation procedures are completed correctly.

Installation requirements include:

  • Verifying that the replacement part matches the intended application before installation.
  • Inspecting the part before installation.
  • Replacing all required seals and gaskets.
  • Replacing all recommended maintenance items.
  • Using new fluids and filters.
  • Removing all contaminants from related systems before installation.
  • Flushing all applicable cooling and lubrication systems when required.
  • Inspecting wiring, connectors, hoses, sensors, and related components.
  • Correcting any pre-existing vehicle problems before installing the replacement part.
  • Following all manufacturer torque specifications.
  • Following all manufacturer programming or calibration procedures when applicable.
  • Completing any required programming before vehicle operation.
  • Following all recommended installation procedures provided by Jask Auto Parts Inc.

Improper installation may void warranty coverage.

14. Inspection Rights

Jask Auto Parts Inc. reserves the right to inspect any part before approving:

  • Warranty replacement.
  •  Store credit.
  • Repair authorization.
  • Claim approval.

Additional inspection rights include:

  • Requesting diagnostic reports.
  • Requesting photographs.
  • Requesting maintenance records.
  • Requesting installation invoices.
  • Requesting inspection reports.
  • Requesting return of the original part.
  • Testing returned products.
  • Consulting third-party experts when necessary.

Failure to cooperate with the inspection process may result in denial of the warranty claim.

15. Limitation of Liability

Jask Auto Parts Inc. shall not be responsible for:

  • Personal injury.
  • Property damage.
  • Vehicle damage.
  • Loss of transportation.
  • Loss of business.
  • Lost profits.
  • Lost wages.
  • Rental vehicle expenses.
  • Storage charges.
  • Towing charges.
  • Hotel expenses.
  • Shipping delays caused by carriers.
  • Weather-related delays.
  • Acts of God.
  • Delays caused by manufacturers or vendors.
  • Delays resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.
  • Any incidental, indirect, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.

The maximum liability of Jask Auto Parts Inc. shall never exceed the purchase price paid for the part.

16. Legal Disclaimer

  • All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty provided with the part.
  • Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, certain limitations contained in this policy may not apply.
  • This warranty provides the purchaser with specific legal rights.
  • Additional legal rights may vary from state to state.
  • No employee, representative, salesperson, or agent of Jask Auto Parts Inc. is authorized to modify this warranty unless such modification is provided in writing by an authorized officer of the company.
  • Jask Auto Parts Inc. reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Any revisions shall apply only to purchases made after the revised policy becomes effective.

Installation Requirements

Before installation, the installer must:

CVT transmissions are covered under the same warranty as standard transmissions, subject to the additional requirements below.

Installation Requirements

The installer must provide documentation confirming:

  • Dealer-quality diagnostic scan prior to installation.
  • Dealer-quality diagnostic scan after installation.
  • OEM-approved CVT fluid was used.
  • CVT filters were replaced.
  • CVT pan gasket was replaced.
  • Torque converter seal was replaced.
  • Axle seals were replaced.
  • Dealer programming or relearn procedures were completed.

Receipts must be retained for warranty purposes.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty is void if:

  • Incorrect CVT fluid is used.

General Terms & Customer Responsibilities

1. Installation Requirements

Proper installation is essential to maintain warranty coverage.

Customers and installers are responsible for ensuring that all replacement parts are installed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.

Before installation, the installer must:

  • Verify that the replacement part is correct for the vehicle application.
  • Inspect the replacement part for shipping damage before installation.
  • Compare the replacement part with the original part before installation.
  • Inspect all related vehicle systems that may affect the operation of the replacement part.
  • Replace all worn or damaged seals, gaskets, O-rings, bearings, filters, fluids, lubricants, and other routine service items applicable to the part being installed.
  • Use only OEM-approved fluids and lubricants.
  • Replace all maintenance items recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Follow all torque specifications published by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Complete any required programming, coding, calibration, or relearn procedures.
  • Verify proper operation of the replacement part before returning the vehicle to service.
  • Follow any additional installation procedures supplied by Jask Auto Parts Inc.

Failure to comply with these requirements may void the warranty.

2. Maintenance Requirements

The customer is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

Maintenance responsibilities include:

  • Performing all scheduled maintenance at the intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Maintaining proper fluid levels at all times.
  • Using the correct grade and type of engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, gear oil, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.
  • Replacing filters at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals.
  • Replacing engine oil and the oil filter using OEM-recommended products.
  • Replacing transmission fluid and filters whenever required.
  • Maintaining the cooling system in proper working condition.
  • Repairing any leaks immediately.
  • Maintaining proper charging system voltage.
  • Maintaining proper fuel system operation.
  • Keeping detailed maintenance records.
  • Retaining receipts for all maintenance performed.

Failure to properly maintain the vehicle may void warranty coverage.

3. Interchange Policy

Jask Auto Parts Inc. utilizes industry-recognized interchange systems, including the Hollander Interchange System, to identify compatible replacement parts.

Customers acknowledge and agree that:

  • Minor scratches, paint chips, oxidation, discoloration, and surface corrosion do not affect warranty coverage.

  • Customers purchasing recycled automotive parts should expect normal signs of previous use.
  • Cosmetic appearance does not affect functionality.

5. Fluids & Lubricants

For shipping purposes:

  • Most fluids are drained from assemblies before shipment.
  • Customers are responsible for refilling all required fluids before operating the vehicle.
  • Customers must verify all fluid levels before startup.
  • Customers are responsible for bleeding cooling, hydraulic, brake, clutch, and steering systems whenever applicable.
  • Failure to refill fluids before operation may void warranty coverage.

6. Gear Ratio Verification

Customers are responsible for:

  • Verifying axle gear ratios.
  • Verifying differential gear ratios.
  • Verifying transfer case compatibility.

Damage resulting from mismatched gear ratios is not covered under warranty.

Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Final Sale Policy

  • All sales are considered final once an order has been processed and payment has been successfully received.
  • Customers are responsible for confirming the correct part before completing their purchase.
  • Orders are processed based on the vehicle and part information provided by the customer.
  • By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to Jask Auto Parts Inc.’s Warranty, Return, and Refund Policy.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Within 24 Hours
  • Orders canceled within twenty-four (24) hours of the original purchase may be eligible for cancellation without a restocking fee, provided that:
    • The order has not been shipped.
    • No special-order or non-returnable items have been purchased.
    • The order has not already entered the shipping process.
Cancellation After 24 Hours
  • Any cancellation request received after twenty-four (24) hours from the original purchase date is subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • The restocking fee applies regardless of whether the order has shipped.
  • Any shipping charges incurred by Jask Auto Parts Inc. are non-refundable.
  • Special-order, custom-order, or non-stock items may not be eligible for cancellation once purchased.
Cancellation After Shipment

Once an order has shipped:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is approved due to an error by Jask Auto Parts Inc.
  • The applicable restocking fee will be deducted from any approved refund.
  • Freight charges, liftgate charges, residential delivery fees, inside delivery fees, reconsignment fees, storage charges, and carrier accessorial charges are non-refundable.

3. Return Eligibility

  • The part arrived damaged during shipping.
  • The part is defective and qualifies under the warranty.
  • Written authorization has been issued by Jask Auto Parts Inc.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Obtain written authorization before any repairs are performed.
  • Provide the original invoice.
  • Provide clear photographs of the part.
  • Provide photographs showing the installed part when requested.
  • Provide a computer-generated diagnostic report when applicable.
  • Provide installation receipts when requested.
  • Provide maintenance records when requested.
  • Cooperate fully during the warranty investigation.

Failure to provide the requested documentation may result in denial of the warranty claim.

6. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

  • No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number.
  • The RMA number will be issued only after the return request has been reviewed and approved.
  • Customers must follow all return instructions provided with the RMA.
  • The returned part must be shipped to the address specified on the RMA.
  • Returns shipped to an unauthorized location may be refused.
  • The part must be returned within 7 business days of receiving the RMA.

7. Shipping Damage

  • All shipments must be inspected by the customer at the time of delivery, before the driver leaves whenever possible.
  • If the package or pallet shows any visible signs of damage, the customer must clearly note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
  • The customer should take clear photographs of the damaged packaging and the damaged part immediately upon delivery.
  • Any shipping damage must be reported to Jask Auto Parts within 24 hours of delivery by providing photographs, a description of the damage, and a copy of the signed delivery receipt (if applicable).
  • Failure to inspect the shipment, document visible damage, or report shipping damage within the required timeframe may result in the shipping carrier denying the claim, and Jask Auto Parts reserves the right to deny requests for replacement or compensation resulting from undocumented shipping damage.
  • Do not install, modify, or attempt to repair a part that has been damaged during shipping. Installation or alteration of a damaged part may void any shipping damage claim.
  • All shipping damage claims are subject to inspection and approval by the shipping carrier and Jask Auto Parts.
  • Jask Auto Parts is not responsible for damage occurring after delivery has been accepted without exception or damage caused by improper handling, storage, or installation after receipt.
 

8. Return Shipping

Unless otherwise approved in writing:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Customers are responsible for packaging the returned part securely.
  • Customers are responsible for any shipping damage occurring during the return shipment.
  • Customers should insure high-value shipments.
  • Tracking information must be provided to Jask Auto Parts Inc. after shipment.

Upon receipt of the returned part:

  • The returned part will be compared with the original sales records.
